Tour Description: The tour itinerary sounds fantastic! It begins with hotel pick-up in Panama City, followed by a transfer to the Gamboa public marina for an exciting boat ride on Gatun Lake to Monkey Islands. Here, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to observe a variety of wild animals up close.
This tour offers the easiest way to encounter monkeys, including white-faced capuchins, howler monkeys, and Geoffrey’s tamarins. You’ll also see two-toed sloths, three-toed sloths, capybaras, anteaters, green iguanas, caimans, crocodiles, turtles, bats, and an array of tropical birds such as the rainbow-billed toucan, keel-billed toucan, fiery-billed aracari, snail kite, white hawk, osprey, limpkin, tiger heron, and white heron. Keep an eye out for aquatic birds like the little blue heron, purple gallinule, and many more. This lake is truly an ecological paradise not to be missed!
After approximately 1.5 hours of exploring the lake, the boat will return to the marina, and you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. It’s a thrilling 4-hour adventure packed with wildlife experiences!
