Your tour begins with a one-hour journey to the Centennial Bridge, where you'll enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Gaillard Cut (the narrowest section of the canal) and the Pedro Miguel Locks. Next, we will visit the Miraflores Locks Exhibition Center, where you'll learn about the canal's history and its operations over the past 100 years.
Our tour continues through the city, where you’ll see the historic Cathedral, various monuments, and the vibrant downtown district. Marvel at the remarkable Colonial and Neoclassical architectural styles that define the city. We will then proceed to Balboa Avenue, where you can observe the new city, home to some of Latin America's tallest and most modern buildings. This tour offers an unparalleled cultural experience!
Private tour (Minimum 4 passengers): Air-conditioned vehicle, English/Spanish speaking guide, Entrance fee, Beverages, and snacks on the road.
PAYMENT METHOD: We prefer payment in cash on the day of the tour as soon you board our vehicle in Colon or PayPal.
TRANSPORTATION: For group tours, we use minibuses with a capacity of 23 passengers per group. For private tours, we use a van with a capacity of 9 passengers or a minibus with a capacity of 23 depending on the size of your party Also, our company has a motorcoach in case you are coming with a large group.
MEETING PLACE: Always, the meeting place is Colon 2000 dock, between the escalator and Fantastic Casino, in our video clip you will see accurate pictures of the place, our guide will wear a T-shirt and hold a sign with ALMIZA TOURS printed on it.
